Engineer

Posting this for my husband.Travelling full time in 4wd (not towing), we decided to make a small modification to the rear bar/jerry can holder after 6 months on the road. We needed to cut a small section so the jerry tap can remain fitted whilst travelling.Called ahead. Mark said to come in and he’ll have a look and may be able to do this on the spot.Without giving all the details. All worked out perfectly. Mark was friendly, professional and went over and above to meet our needs.Highly recommend.

Great people, straight to the point excellent service all around

I have engaged Rhys from Dwyer Engineering and Construction Pty Ltd (DEC) to sand down and oil my deck (ca. 20/25sqm) for $1,800. Rhys promised me good quality work and a thorough job so I went with him instead of cheaper options I had (I had several quotes around $1,000).Rhys was very friendly and it appeared he would do the job without a fuss. When he told me the job was finished, I noticed that several oil stains were left on my limestone... I had to call him several times until he finally removed all stains except for one.Nonetheless, I paid Rhys the full amount as the job looked great - what I did not know was that the job only looked great because of the humid weather.Once the deck (and fresh oil) had dried up properly, it became apparent that the deck had not been sanded down properly - there were lots of old stains of the previous finish was visible resulting in a not so great overall look (see photos).After several requests, Rhys finally fixed the worst spots where he had not sanded at all, however, left quite a few spots untreated.When I requested that he finishes the job properly, he promised to attend to it several times and then did not do so - not very professional, is it?After 3-4 weeks of chasing, I had enough and offered him a final week to fix the job or refund me at least some of the money paid - for the mediocre job, I clearly paid him too much.Again, he promised to fix it but did not follow through.So, better watch out before handing money over, as apparently Rhys' warranty is worthless...Very disapopinting experience.

Very helpful and costumer service is maximum

Disappointed to learn that GHD is working on the Adani Carmichael mine. This project spells disaster for our climate and our ecosystems. GHD has so much potential to focus on renewable projects, and I wish it would distance itself from projects like Adani.

Called on a monday morning to get my truck tyres alligned, booked straight in for 1pm and had it smick within 2 hrs.
